The Keeneland Pony Club presentS the 18th annual Jump Start Horse Trials October 3-5, 2008 .
Support for this event continues to grow – 350 riders will be accepted for 2008, more than ever before!
Competitors come from 15 states and Canada and range in age from 10 to 60+.

Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, the Kentucky Horse Park, Masterson Station Park,
and the Midsouth Region of the U.S. Pony Clubs are a few of the recipients of money raised by
this event. Keeneland Pony Club also uses the funds to supplement the ever increasing
mounted and unmounted instructional costs for its more than 60 young horse people.

Jump Start Horse Trials, a competition composed of three phases of riding:
dressage, cross-country, and show jumping, is recognized and endorsed by the the
United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and the United States Eventing Association (USEA).
It is also sanctioned by the Midsouth Eventing and Dressage Association (MSEDA).
Jump Start Horse Trials was voted as the Best Horse Trial in the Region by the
members of MSEDA for 2005, 2004 and 2003.
